Board Games at Recess!

This week, let’s talk about games that your kids could bring to school to play during lunch or recess. Small, quick, and cheap.

Topic! Games your kids can bring to recess

It’s the first week of school for our kids. If your kids wanted to bring games to play with their friends at school, what would fit well? These games have to be short, really portable (small), and have a neutral theme. You’ve probably only got a few minutes, so they should be fast to play, fast to teach… and cheap and easy to replace. Because kids lose things.

We last talked about this kind of idea 100 episodes ago, in episode 158.

Palm Island (a solo game from Portal Dragon – our review) Since it plays in your hand, you could even play it on the bus!

Deep Sea Adventure (2-6 players, from Oink Games)

Cinco Linko (2-4 players, Big Potato Games – our review)

Sushi Go (2-5 players, Gamewright)

Slamwich (2-6 players, Gamewright) – not Anitra’s favorite kind of game, but great for kids at the lunch table.

What games would you suggest for kids to play during breaks in school?
