Board Game Bakes

Andrew and Danielle met at PAX Unplugged this year – while playing Cape May at the Thunderworks booth!

How did you get started combining your love of board games with baking? What inspired you?

Danielle enjoys board games and baking, and figured she could combine them. Inspired a bit by Nerdy Nummies.

What have been YOUR favorite bakes?

Mariposas cake with black fondant and 3D butterflies

Danielle also made the entire game of Lanterns, a cookie for each tile.

Hues & Cues cake – absolutely amazing to reconstruct the color variations.

Everdell tree – it stands up!

Everyone was talking about the playable 12 Days cookies at PAXU. 80 cookies!

Andrew got to eat a Shifting Stones cookie at PAXU!

Anitra likes that there are also simpler bakes like sugar cookie meeples & the gingerbread people from Roll For Your Life, Candyman! – almost anyone could make these. (How about some Gizmos cheese balls?)
