Our Year in Gameschooling

What is gameschooling? Using board games as a learning tool, especially in a homeschool context.

Why gameschool? It helps escape from the mundane.

What surprised us the most? That it didn’t help a ton with math practice & history. But using games to reinforce science concepts worked amazingly well.

What did we like the most? Playing games reduced the “distance” in the teacher-student relationship.
