Board Gaming with Education
A lot has changed since we last talked to Dustin!
Early in 2020, he had started to run events and board gaming classes. Then COVID hit.
In October/November, Dustin and his team started selling tabletop games online. The goal is to bring more games into learning environments (classrooms and home) and providing resources that helps with that.
Party games are great for both the classroom and for online learning. Nerd Words is a great one that Dustin and his team have created resources for.
Dustin has taught at every level, but he’s taking a break this year to work full time on Board Gaming with Education.
What is an “EduGamer Expert”?
A term Dustin coined – someone who is familiar with using games for learning and the steps to use games effectively in that way.

What’s next for Board Gaming with Education?
A physical space with a store and after-school programs (in the Los Angeles area).
The podcast will continue.
The Youtube channel will become a broader approach to tabletop games.
Dustin shares how Pokemon can be used to help teach alphabet & reading skills.
